Wai Tik Chan is a Junior Research Fellow in Geoinformatics. His research focuses on exploring the Discrete Global Grid System (DGGS) for high-resolution water quality modelling. Specifically, he works with the IGEO7 DGGS, which utilises an equal-area hexagonal grid. His efforts involve integrating high-resolution geoinformatics data into the IGEO7 DGGS and developing features that enhance analysis and modelling capabilities in environmental studies.
